Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Sift the Matcha: Use a small sifter to sift 1–2 scoops (1 tsp) of matcha into your bowl. This removes clumps for a smoother blend.

  2. Add Hot Water: Pour about 2 oz (60 ml) of hot water into the bowl. The water should be hot but not boiling.

  3. Whisk in a Zigzag Motion: Using the bamboo whisk, quickly whisk the matcha in an "M" or "W" motion. Keep your wrist flexible. This helps create a foamy layer on top.

  4. Finish and Enjoy: Once the surface is covered with fine bubbles, your matcha is ready. Sip straight from the bowl or pour into your favourite cup.
