Honey Yuzu Bliss Recipe
This refreshing matcha drink combines the bright citrus flavour of yuzu with the smooth richness of cream and the earthy depth of matcha. The honey yuzu cream adds a light, fragrant sweetness that pairs beautifully with the vibrant matcha base.
Honey Yuzu Cream
In a small cup or frothing pitcher, combine 1 tablespoon of honey yuzu with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup. Add 15g of heavy cream and 30g of milk, then froth the mixture for about 30 seconds until it becomes light and slightly thickened.
Matcha Base
In a bowl, whisk 3g of Matcha Society’s organic matcha with 30g of warm water until smooth and free of clumps. Once fully whisked, add another 30g of cold water and mix well to create a balanced matcha base.
Assemble
Pour the matcha base into your serving glass, then gently top it with the honey yuzu cream. The creamy citrus layer will float on top, creating a refreshing and aromatic matcha drink.
